BXN - Value Added services

E-business is more than transporting electronic messages between companies. It is also an important tool to improve the companies’ supply chain and business processes. BXN offers a number of value added services which in different ways increase efficiency and control:

The content validation service is a useful tool for recipients of electronic messages using a workflow/ERP system with specific requirements for invoice content. With this service, BXN creates a customer specific set of business rules which each incoming messages must fulfill. Each time an message is sent to the recipient via BXN, the content is automatically validated to fulfill the requirements. If any information in the message is incorrect (for example, the item code on an e-order or the vendor ID on an e-invoice, or information on other e-messages), the e-message will not be sent to the recipient. Furthermore, an e-mail will be sent to the sender stating that the message has been stopped, including information of what needs to be corrected before it can be re-sent.

The content enrichment service is useful for companies sending electronic messages to recipients with specific demands on the content. For example, with the BXN content enrichment service an invoice can require a specific reference or a particular name or number the supplier’s financial system cannot handle. Within the BXN system, enrichment is auto­matically performed. Information can be replaced or supplemented with additional data to meet the recipient’s requirements for content.

BXN’s e-netting service can process all or part of a com­pany group’s internal invoices via BXN, where the net amount is automatically calculated and can be checked in real time. In addition, reconciliation of supplier and buyer accounts are made quick and efficient. It is also easy to add new units/subsidiaries. BXN e-netting makes currency ex­change differences within a company group non-existent.

Multi company support is a very useful service for companies that need to manage subsidiaries or multiple legal entities. It is an efficient tool for central service organizations that want to streamline the processed documents. The service allows a user to manage several companies with the same user profile. The user can easily switch between companies via a drop down menu.

Digital signature is a service for companies sending e-invoices to/from countries requiring digital signature. Digital signatures are applied in BXN using a digital certificate. Senders do not have to think about which signatures should be used for a particular country, these are automatically selected by BXN. The service meets the demands of VAT legislations in 37 countries.

With the service PDF message via e-mail, our customers can send all documents electronically, regardless if the recipient can receive messages or not. For example, e-orders are sent directly to the recipients in the desired format. Other orders would be automatically sent as a PDF to the recipients’ predefined account. If a PDF message bounces at the recipient side, The service sends an e-mail alert to sender with a notification about the bounce including information why it bounced.
 
BXN e-archive archives all e-invoices processed via BXN, both sent and received. The archived e-invoices are available and auditable online through the entire lifecycle of the e-invoice, in accordance with local regulations. E-archive also makes it possible to search in several fields, such as invoice number, amount, recipient, date of invoice, due date and recipient ID.

Extended reports is a service for businesses that need reports with customized content. The user receives reports with information of activities in user accounts. The reports are sent to the e-mail addresses of selected personnel, at predetermined intervals and with content, lay­out and format in accordance with specified requirements.
